How Do I Share My Voting Link?Updated a month ago
First, open your Next Runway Star voting page. Tap the web address at the top of your screen, then select Copy. Your phone will save the link so you can paste it wherever you want to share it.
FOR FACEBOOK:
Open Facebook and tap “What’s on your mind?” Press and hold inside the post, then tap Paste. Wait a few seconds for your profile preview to appear, add a short message asking people to vote, and tap Post.
You can also share the post in Facebook groups and ask friends or family to use the Share button.
INSTAGRAM STORY:
Open Instagram, tap the + sign, and select Story. Choose a photo, tap the sticker icon, select LINK, paste your voting link, and tap Done. Move the link sticker somewhere visible, then tap Your Story.
Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours, so we recommend posting a new one each day.
INSTAGRAM BIO:
Instagram links do not work when pasted into a regular caption.
Go to your Instagram profile and tap:
Edit Profile → Links → Add External Link
Paste your voting link into the URL box and enter VOTE FOR ME as the title. Then tap Done and Save.
Whenever you post, include the words “Link in bio to vote — it’s free!” so people know where to find your link.
TIKTOK:
TikTok links also do not work in regular captions.
Go to:
Profile → Edit Profile → Website
Paste your voting link and tap Save. In your videos and captions, tell people to visit the link in your bio to vote.
If you do not see the Website option, you may need to switch to a free TikTok Business Account under:
Settings and Privacy → Account → Switch to Business Account
TEXT MESSAGE:
Open your Messages app, start a message, press and hold inside the typing box, and tap Paste. Add a personal message and send it directly to friends, family members, and coworkers.
EMAIL:
Start a new email and paste your voting link into the message.
Important reminder
Your link can be clicked directly when shared through Facebook, Instagram Stories, text messages, email, Snapchat, or WhatsApp.
Links are not clickable in Instagram or TikTok captions, so your voting link must be placed in your bio and your posts should clearly say “link in bio.”
Be sure to mention that voting is free, supporters can vote every day, and ask them directly to vote for you.
